Hop aboard the iconic "steel horse," the traditional Jeep Willys, and discover the most authentic and peaceful side of Quindío. On this full-day tour, we leave the usual routes behind and head into the mountains, where towns preserve their original architecture, life moves at an unhurried pace, and viewpoints offer endless postcard views of the Andes.
It's a cultural and photographic tour that's comfortable and flexible: you choose where to start, and we pick you up at your door. An ideal plan to visit several heritage towns in a single day, away from the crowds.
Quick facts
What will you experience?
Your day starts with pickup at your hotel in a private Jeep Willys, the flagship vehicle of coffee culture. The first stop is usually Buenavista, the "balcony of Quindío," with breathtaking panoramic views.
You continue to Pijao, the first town in Latin America recognized as a Cittaslow for its relaxed pace of life, and then Córdoba, where coffee-country architecture is at its purest and the friendliness of the locals is the biggest draw. Along the way, you pass spots like Río Verde, perfect for iconic photos of the Jeep in its natural habitat.
The day wraps up in the magical north: Salento and Filandia, with their colonial architecture, viewpoints, and bohemian vibe—the two most famous towns in Colombia. The route is flexible and can be adjusted to your interests and available time.
Departure times
We offer several departure times throughout the morning so you can choose the one that suits you best; you can select an available time when booking. Please note that this activity requires advance booking to secure your spot and coordinate transportation and logistics. We recommend arriving 10 minutes early to make the most of your day.
