Elevate your senses and discover Quindío from the clouds. Buenavista lives up to its name, offering the most impressive natural balcony in the Coffee Region. On this paragliding flight, you'll soar over endless coffee fields, dense bamboo forests, and deep valleys, feeling the absolute freedom of the wind. It's an experience focused on safety, respect for nature, and social support, as part of your adventure helps fund the sterilization of the town's stray animals.
During the experience you'll enjoy:
Buenavista is known as the best balcony in the Coffee Region, the ideal place to paraglide safely and with purpose.
The flight depends on weather conditions, so we coordinate the schedule with you when you book. If the wind is too strong or it's raining, we wait for conditions to improve, and if the weather prevents flying, we reschedule your appointment. We recommend booking in advance and confirming the meeting point at Buenavista's main square.
Tip: the tour already includes professional video and photos, so you don't need to bring a camera. Remember the minimum weight is 18 kg.
Transfer from Buenavista's main square to the takeoff site (round trip) is included. Transportation to the town of Buenavista is not included:
If you need help arranging your transportation, message us and we'll be happy to assist.
Welcome at Buenavista's Main Square. Here we confirm your booking, sign the informed consent form, and weigh you to assign the right pilot based on wind conditions.
Transfer by 4x4 or specialized vehicle from the square to the takeoff site. On the way up, you'll enjoy a stunning view of the town and the surrounding coffee fields.
Arrival at the takeoff site. Your certified pilot will fit your harness and helmet. You'll get clear instructions on how to take off (just walk or jog a few steps!) and how to sit comfortably once you're in the air.
Takeoff! Enjoy 10 to 15 minutes of silent gliding (weather permitting). You'll soar over a "sea of green" made up of bamboo groves and coffee farms. If conditions allow, the pilot may perform a few gentle maneuvers for extra thrills.
Smooth landing in the designated area. Return to Buenavista's main square. Here we'll explain how your photos and edited video will be sent (via WeTransfer) so you can share your adventure right away.
Absolutely. Our pilots are certified by the Colombian Air Sports Federation, our equipment is fully maintained, and a specialized medical assistance policy covers you from the moment you board the transport until you land.
Safety is our priority. If the wind is too strong or it's raining, we have to wait for conditions to improve. If the weather prevents the flight altogether, we'll reschedule or find the best solution according to our policies.
We recommend wearing long pants, a windbreaker jacket (it's cold up there), and closed-toe shoes with good grip (sneakers or boots). Avoid sandals or shoes that could easily fall off.
For safety reasons, handling loose items during the flight is not allowed (they can fall or get tangled in the lines). The tour already includes a 3-minute video and 25 photos taken with professional equipment secured to the pilot.
There is no strict age limit, as long as the person meets the minimum weight of 18 kg, can follow basic instructions, and can walk during takeoff.
