FAQ

Coffee tour FAQs

What's the difference between the coffee farms?

Each farm has its own focus: Buenos Aires is the most complete; El Ocaso Premium has the most beautiful setting and the most specialized tasting; Don Elías is certified organic; Las Acacias is the most affordable and quickest; and Entre Bosques offers the most intimate experience in a forest setting.

Is transportation to the farm included?

It isn't included by default, but you can add it as an extra service when booking. You can also get there in your own vehicle or by Jeep Willys from Salento's main square, a more authentic and cultural option.

How long does a coffee tour last?

It depends on the farm: Las Acacias lasts 1 hour, El Ocaso Tradicional 1.5 hours, El Ocaso Premium and Don Elías about 2–3 hours, and Buenos Aires can take half a day. The exact duration is listed on each tour.

Do you have English-speaking guides?

Yes, all farms have bilingual guides in Spanish and English. We recommend mentioning it when booking to confirm availability, especially in high season.

Is it suitable for kids?

Yes, the coffee tours are suitable for the whole family. For groups with young children, we recommend Finca Las Acacias since it's the shortest tour.

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes. If you cancel at least 24 hours in advance, you get a 90–100% refund depending on the payment method. Request it via WhatsApp or through the support link sent to your email.

Which farm do you recommend for a first-timer?

For first-timers we recommend El Ocaso Tradicional: it has the most beautiful setting in Salento, the tour is well structured, and the length is just right. With more time and budget, El Ocaso Premium or Buenos Aires offer the most complete experience.

Can I combine the coffee tour with other activities?

Yes. You can do coffee in the morning and Valle del Cocora in the afternoon, or book our day trip combining coffee + cacao in one day. Message us on WhatsApp and we'll put together your itinerary.
