Quick facts
What will you experience?
Your adventure begins at Parqueadero La Esperanza, in the heart of Valle del Cocora. After getting ready at the stable, you set off on a horseback ride of about one hour that crosses the Quindío River to the private area of the valley, an exclusive and peaceful natural setting, ideal for resting before returning to the station. The horseback ride is optional and suitable for ages 4 and up.
Then you continue with a 2 to 3-hour guided hike through the wax palm valleys, climbing to the most iconic viewpoints while your guide shares the history and traditions of the area.
Along the way you get access to the full photo circuit, with stations for your best memories: the famous Cocora sign, the tricolor Jeep, the condor's nest, the hand of the forest and figures representing local wildlife. At the end, you return to the parking lot, where you decide whether to head back to Salento or stay and enjoy the surroundings.
