Visit a coffee farm near Salento and learn the process from bean to cup.
Salento is the most visited town in Quindío and the gateway to the Valle del Cocora. Besides its colorful streets, just a few minutes from town you will find viewpoints, waterfalls, rivers and cloud forests that you can explore on foot or on horseback.
Horseback rides are the classic plan: they range from a short 50-minute ride to the El Mocambo viewpoints to half-day tours through coffee farms, the Boquerón river or the Santa Rita waterfall, always with gentle horses and a guide. If you prefer to walk, the Kasaguadua nature reserve combines trails, a climb past waterfalls and bamboo architecture.
