The Hummingbird Circuit is a route designed to enjoy the area's biodiversity—especially hummingbirds and other birds—without the demands of a summit climb. It's all about nature, fresh air, and tranquility, with moments around the campfire and sunrises with the best views of the Colombian Andes.
You'll hike the Hummingbird Circuit, a fascinating trail among wax palms, lush vegetation, and natural viewpoints. Along the way you'll observe the local wildlife and plants, with the Hummingbird House as one of the highlights for seeing these birds up close. The pace is relaxed, so you can enjoy the surroundings without rushing.
As evening falls, you'll settle into the campsite to experience the magic of night in the valley: a campfire, starry skies, and the soothing sounds of nature. The next morning you'll wake up surrounded by mountains and wax palms, have breakfast, and wrap up an experience of total connection with nature.
You'll sleep at an equipped campsite inside Valle del Cocora, with safe areas, restrooms, and a campfire space. It's an authentic camping experience under the stars, so we recommend bringing warm clothes: nights in the valley are cold. Camping gear (tent and sleeping bag) is included. And since it gets chilly at night, we recommend bringing a blanket or an extra layer to sleep more comfortably.

Warm, waterproof clothing (nights are cold), comfortable walking shoes, a flashlight or headlamp, a water bottle, sunscreen, insect repellent, a change of clothes, an extra blanket or warm layer for the chilly night, and your personal toiletries.

Valle del Cocora has changeable weather and the nights are cold. Fog or rain may occur, so bringing warm clothing and a waterproof jacket is essential.
Yes. The campsite has restrooms and suitable facilities for your stay. We recommend bringing your own reusable water bottle.
The plan includes a traditional breakfast and a hiking snack (chicken or vegetarian sandwich), plus a snack at the Hummingbird House. Dinner and other meals are not included.
Transportation to and from Valle del Cocora is not included, but we can quote it separately. The meeting point is in Valle del Cocora, Salento (Quindío); we'll send you the details once your booking is confirmed.

You can book by paying 50% upfront and the balance on the day of the tour. We accept credit and debit cards, bank transfers, and other secure payment methods. Message us to confirm date availability.
Yes. Since this plan includes lodging or camping, cancellation is free up to 3 days (72 hours) before the start: we refund 100% of what you paid, with no fees. You can also change the date at no cost with 3 or more days' notice, subject to availability. With less than 3 days' notice, or if you don't show up, the booking is non-refundable.
