What's included and how does it work?
We pick you up at your hotel in Salento and you hop into a private Jeep Willys for the scenic climb (20 to 25 minutes) to Valle del Cocora. When you arrive, your driver-host gives you the key directions: trail landmarks, safety tips, and the meeting time for the return trip.
From there, you explore the valley on your own, at your own pace: climb to the 360-degree viewpoints to see the ocean of the world's tallest wax palms and walk the photo circuit with the Hand of the Forest, the photo Jeep, and the other iconic stations.
When you're done, you meet your driver at the agreed spot and head back to Salento, just in time to enjoy a traditional lunch in town.
Departure times
Since this is a private service, you choose the departure time; we recommend starting early to enjoy the morning mist and avoid the crowds. This service requires advance booking to guarantee your spot in the Jeep and coordinate pickup. We recommend being ready 10 minutes before the agreed time.

No. This is a self-guided service: your driver-host takes you there, gives you all the directions and landmarks, and waits for you at the vehicle, but does not join you on the walk. If you'd rather go with a guide, we offer guided tours and passes.
