Enjoy an adventurous horseback ride through Salento's natural landscapes, with the thrill of crossing the Boquerón River on horseback. The tour lasts about 2 hours—around 1 hour and 40 minutes in the saddle—combining trails and dirt roads with river crossings, amid natural forests and beautiful local scenery.
Because of the river crossings and varied terrain, some riding experience is recommended. It's the ideal option for those looking for a horseback ride with a more adventurous touch, always with gentle horses and an expert guide.

Guide and private tour
All our horseback rides are 100% private: we don't combine groups, so you can enjoy the ride at your own pace and in complete safety. Our horses' well-being and care
At Cocoratours, our horses' well-being is a priority. We work with healthy, well-cared-for animals, with proper rest and rotation between tours and saddles in good condition. For their well-being, the maximum weight per rider is 120 kg. We ask that you always follow your guide's instructions so the horses are treated with respect.
Photos and videos of the tour
During the tour, your guide will take photos and videos at the best spots, so your only concern is enjoying yourself. At the end, we'll share them with you as a keepsake of the experience.
Meeting point and how to get there
The meeting point is our office at Calle 2 #6-09, Salento (at the end of Calle Real). If you're staying in Salento's town area, we can pick you up for free at your hotel or lodging (not available during peak seasons due to traffic). When you book, we'll confirm the exact start time and location.
