A magnificent experience. I went with my husband and a couple of friends and we enjoyed it a lot. On the first day our guide Cesar was spectacular; he took us on the tour of the Cocora park while sharing about the place.

The 4-stop horseback ride is well worth it. The place is wonderful. It is better to go in the morning, when the weather allows you to see more. We had Julio as our guide, the best guide we have had. He loves his work, explains many interesting things about the place, and is also a very good photographer.

I recommend buying tickets in advance in town. Search for Cocoratours on Google and you will get the exact address of the office in town; there they will tell you where the valley is, about a half-hour drive away.

I did the hummingbird tour with Andrés. Obviously the Valle del Cocora is beautiful on its own, but with all the guide's explanations, the experience was unbeatable. You can tell he is a professional with a lot of knowledge and love for his land.
