viajé solo y pensé en hacer el tour solo, pero decidí contratar guía y el tour fue perfecto , Jeison además de contarme la historia del valle del Cócora y explicarme muchos detalles , fue muy atento y me orientó en temas de lugares y comidas, así que la experiencia fue inolvidable, altamente recomendado 10/10 todo salió bien incluso el transporte

If you are planning a trip to Salento and want to experience the breathtaking beauty of the Cocora Valley on horseback, you absolutely must book a tour with Jeisson! Our group of three had the most amazing time, and it was truly the highlight of our trip to Colombia.From the moment we met him, Jeisson was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. One of the biggest advantages was his excellent English, which made communication effortless and allowed us to fully appreciate his extensive knowledge of the area. He shared fascinating insights about the valley, the towering wax palms, and the local ecosystem, making the ride not just scenic, but also deeply informative.What really set Jeisson apart as a guide was his patience and dedication. He spent so much time with us and never once made us feel rushed. We were able to soak in the stunning views at our own pace. On top of that, he is an incredible photographer! He knew all the best spots and angles, taking a ton of fantastic photos of our group so we could just relax and enjoy the ride without worrying about capturing the memories ourselves.The horses were also wonderful—very well cared for, incredibly calm, and perfectly suited for the terrain. They did their jobs flawlessly, making even the less experienced riders in our group feel completely safe and comfortable.Overall, it was a spectacular and memorable experience. We cannot recommend Jeisson highly enough. If you want a knowledgeable, patient, and all-around fantastic guide for your Cocora Valley adventure, he is the one to ask for!

We had a great tour with Jefry! (I'm sorry if I spelled that wrong). I had good communication with Cesar prior to the tour via WhatsApp when I needed to change my pick up time. Jefry and the driver were on time and east to spot in their marked jeep. It's a 12 km hike with some difficult parts (as described on their website, you DO need to be in shape for hiking up some difficult terrain). While we saw tourists doing the hike on their own, we also came across ones that were lost and panicked. I 100% recommend doing the tour with a guide. There are some unmarked splits in the trail but most of all we learned SO MUCH from our guide about everything... The forest, the trees, ecosystems, farms, animals, Colombia... It was an amazing experience and having the luxury of just following someone and asking questions was priceless. Lunch was provided as well as the jeeps to/from and entrance fees so overall it was a really great deal. Thanks for a great day!

He speaks very well English and treated us like queens! We did a horseback riding tour through the Cocora valley first and then we went to the santa rita waterfall for an approx 3 hrs hike, afterwards we had trucha (local trout) and were dropped off at our hotel.There was some confusion first as we thought we booked the horseback riding in advance but that was not the case.. Jason made some calls and arranged for us to have our way anyway. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time.Please take note that the santa rita hike is pretty intense but you will pass some beautiful waterfalls.Definitely a must when in Salento!
